The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is historically around 6-7 days. Drive is also a beautiful 1.5-2 hours tuning drive in the Modi River valley. The path then ascends gently to Tikhedhunga through fields and small villages. THE first day is a light and gentle stroll to ease you into walking and to gauge the incline of the route.
The next day’s hike is an uphill trudge through rhododendron and oak forests to Ghorepani, a busy mountain village known for its snug teahouses. Early next day in morning is a good time to go for an early morning hike to Poon Hill. Make sure you don’t miss the Best of the Annapurna base camp Trekking – You will never be able to forget waking up to the breathtaking sunrise view of the beautiful peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas. Then back down to Ghorepani for a little rest after sunrise and back on the trail. On this leg of the journey, you get some altitude (and some fantastic views of the Himalayas).
After Ghorepani, the path gently descends through green forest and rivers to another beautiful village, Chhomrong. This Village is a common checkpoint on the road to the Annapurna Sanctuary above. Beautiful sights of Annapurna South, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and other mountains, motivating plus points for Trekkers to trek overnight in the villages of Chhomrong. The hiking is a combination of steeper bits followed by flatter sections, so you will acclimatize slowly.
We walk higher and higher into the high-altitude alpine landscape above Chhomrong. You will trek through lush, dense bamboo woodland and rocky trails to Bamboo, after which to Deurali. The landscape slowly transforms — timber grows to be more sparse, with a backdrop of panoramic mountain perspectives. Take it more slowly at that higher altitude and make especially sure to drink even more water. Teahouses are less luxurious here but provide warmth and meals to fuel your trek.
very last leg of the ABC trek: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (four,130m) at Annapurna Sanctuary. It’s a steep climb; however, the view is really worth it. Base camp is a cauldron of mountains, glaciers, and the fusillade of roc., This is Annapurna South looming over you. Lots of hikers spend some time here, enjoying the views, taking photos, and thinking about their trip. Both peaceful and exhilarating simultaneously, it is also a Himalayan adventure classic.
Once you’re acclimatized in base camp, you start the gentle descent to Jhinu Danda, which has the all-important village and natural hot springs, good for your aching muscles. The path goes down and down further through a forest and past several villages to Nayapul. Physically, it is an easier descent, but you have to be nice to your knees and have something left. When you get back to Nayapul, you can chill and think about how you did it, then jump back on transport to Pokhar, where you may think about it some more before planning your next lunatic idea of where to force yourself to walk about next.
Adjust as appropriate and mix in some rest days. A hearty high high-protein, high-acidic meal on the menu will serve you well with enough energy for the day´s walk up. Staying hydrated and being well prepared with gear appropriate for the day — all of which is to say sturdy footwear, layered clothing, and trekking poles- can go a long way in keeping you comfortable and strong on the trail. And finally, the interaction and experiences with locals and other travelers will add to a one-of-a-kind experience to your list of memories. Trekking in Nepal is not only a test of endurance but an insight into a local culture that will leave you enlightened.
It is built for novices, though you could lengthen or shorten it and add in acclimatizing days. Annapurna Base Camp Trek Cost is affordable, whether you do it alone or with a guide; the teahouses are very inexpensive.
